Freelance Filmmaker

My name is Tavi and I am a freelance filmmaker.

I was born in Santa Fe, New Mexico but now reside in Vancouver, BC.  I have a deep love of travel and cultures. My goal is to create captivating stories that inspire and move people.

My work has taken me around the world, from a mission to document the Kumbh Mela pilgrimage in India, to the bottom of the sea on Canada’s Pacific coast in search of threatened deep sea corals, to a 900 km trek along the ancient Camino de Santiago route in northern Spain. Additionally, I had the opportunity to journey deep into the Himalayan Mountains to document a sacred valley called Tsum and to the northern reaches of Nunavut to film the start of a ski expedition across the Arctic ice. In 2015 I went on a 4-month road trip through Patagonia and shared videos & stories via a blog. A lover of music, I have directed multiple music videos that have garnered millions of views.

I hope my creative endeavours, present and future, reveal glimpses into the wonder this world holds.

I provide a full range of services, from pre-production to post-production. If you have any projects you would like to collaborate on, please get in touch.
