Tomorrow’s Harvest:

A feature documentary that tells the story of some of B.C.'s young farmers, and their mission to nurture their communities in the face of impossible land prices.

The Pilgrimage:

A short documentary about two brothers seeking adventure, inner wisdom and peace of mind while walking the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimage that spans nearly a thousand kilometres across Spain. Following one of humanity's most honoured traditions, the film shows how a backpack, a good pair of hiking boots, and an open mind can truly change lives. No one can predict just how their path will unfold, whom they will meet and what transformations they will undergo by the trails end...but that is life!

FINDING CORAL EXPEDITION:

This short documentary takes you on a journey to the bottom of the sea on Canada's Pacific coast in search of deep sea corals. Using one person submarines, a team of international scientists made 30 dives to depths of over 500 meters. Down below they saw giant coral forests, darting schools of fish, and a seafloor carpeted in brittle stars.

EACH AND EVERY ONE:

A short film created for the International Doc Challenge and selected as part of the top 12 finalists. This documentary explores the life of a lonely man and his deep love for animals of all kinds.

FEARLESS:

In this documentary, an aging adventurer recounts his exploits while searching for a deeper meaning as he enters the less active autumn of his life. These are his untold stories, entrenched with the rewards and costs of a life well lived.

Travel Vignettes

A Moment in a Hidden valley

Tsum Valley is considered a Beyul or "Hidden Valley". In the fall of 2013, I had the unique opportunity to trek into the valley and witness firsthand the stunning landscape, the vibrant culture of the Tsumba people and the deeply ingrained Buddhist faith.

a moment in a volcanic eruption

On April 22, 2015, Chilean volcano Calbuco erupted without warning. I was lucky enough to capture this powerful event on film, as Calbuco erupted for the first time in 40 years.

A MOMENT IN A HOLY CITY

Varanasi is one of the oldest cities in the world and is regarded as holy. Situated by the sacred Ganges river, you can clearly see how intimately people are connected to it.

A moment in a fragrant harbour

A vignette exploring the cityscape of Hong Kong. This visual narrative captures the essence of the city as seen through the eyes of a traveller.
