The Pilgrimage:

A short documentary about two brothers seeking adventure, inner wisdom and peace of mind while walking the Camino de Santiago, an ancient pilgrimage that spans nearly a thousand kilometres across Spain. Following one of humanity's most honoured traditions, the film shows how a backpack, a good pair of hiking boots, and an open mind can truly change lives. No one can predict just how their path will unfold, whom they will meet and what transformations they will undergo by the trails end...but that is life!

A journey to the bottom of the sea on Canada's Pacific coast in search of deep sea corals. Using one person submarines, a team of international scientists made 30 dives to depths of over 500 meters and saw giant coral forests, darting schools of fish, and a seafloor carpeted in brittle stars.

A short film created for the International Doc Challenge and selected as part of the top 12 finalists. This documentary explores the life of a lonely man and his deep love for animals of all kinds. 

Martyn Williams is a Canadian who has climbed two of the biggest peaks in the world, Mt. Everest and Mt. Vinson. He has also guided numerous expeditions to both the North and South Pole. During the peak of his career, a few of his colleagues, including his best friend die on various climbing accidents.

Fearless:

In this documentary, an aging adventurer recounts his exploits while searching for a deeper meaning as he enters the less active autumn of his life. These are his untold stories, entrenched with the rewards and costs of a life well lived.

Volcano Calbuco erupted without warning on April 22, 2015. Its last major eruption was over 40 years ago. A Moment in a Volcanic Eruption

On April 22, 2015, Chilean volcano Calbuco erupted without warning. I was lucky enough to capture this powerful event on film, as Calbuco erupted for the first time in 40 years.

Varanasi is one of the oldest cities in the world. It is a regarded as a holy city and you can truly feel the ancient sacredness mixed in with the chaos of the bustling city. And to be by the sacred river of the Ganges, you can see how people are intimately connected to it.

I had a 14 hour overlay to India in Hong Kong and decided to explore the city a bit. Here is a little vignette of my experience. I shot it with my Sony EX-1 in 24p
